'Woman, Life, Freedom' is the rallying cry of the women's protest movement that has been challengeing the religious dictatorship in Iran. Triggered by the death of Mahsa Amini, a young woman who was arrested and beaten by the 'morality police' in September 2022. The country has been rocked by strikes and protests since by women and men alike seeking cultural freedom and the end of religious oppression.
